I am back from vacation. While it was truly wonderful it's nice being back home even with my "Beach-Head!" Today I am trying to post things I meant to do before I left but just ran out of time.
This is the Autumnal quilt we did last Autumn for the seasonal quilt series. This is the third in the series even though we did it first. Look in a few weeks for the last quilt in the series-Winter.
The recipe is as follows:
STAMP SETS: Voila to go
Give Thanks (retired)
Happy Blessings
Season of Friendship
Seasonal Icons
PAPER: Elegant Eggplant Card Stock (8-1/2" x 10-1/2")
TREE:
Old Olive Card Stock (5-1/2" x 4-1/2")
Whisper White Card Stock (5" x 4")
The tree was stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink on Whisper White Card Stock and the leaves were stamped in Cranberry Crisp, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun and Old Olive. Fine Cosmo Stampin' Glitter and Brads were added to some of the leave.s.
APPLES & PAIL:

Old Olive Card Stock (3" x 2 3/4")
Whisper White Card Stock (2-1/2" x 2-1/4")
The apples and pail were stamped in Basic Black on the Whisper White Card Stock. With Stampin' Up Markers I colored in the apples in Green Galore and Real Red. For the pail I used the Basic Grey marker. I mounted the Whisper Whites Card Stock onto the Old Olive Card Stock and added four Real Red Brads to each corner.
PUMPKIN:
Pumpkin Pie Card Stock (1-1/2" x 1-1/2")
Whisper White Card Stock ( 1" x 1")
The pumpkin was stamped in Basic Black and colored with Watercolor Pencils. I hand cut four corners out of Old Olive Card Stock, added an eyelet and knotted a piece of Black Gingham Ribbon through it. Around the pumpkin I added dashes to resemble stitching.
TURKEY:
Creamy Caramel Card Stock (1-1/2" x 2")
Whisper White Card Stock (1" x 1-1/2")
The turkey was stamped in Basic Black Ink and colored using the Watercolor Pencils.
SCARECROW:
Summer Sun Card Stock (3-14" x 2-1/4")
Whisper White Card Stock (2-3/4" x 1-3/4")
The scarecrow was stamped in Basic Black Ink and colored with Watercolor Pencils. A small square to create a patch for his pants was cut from Real Red Gingham Ribbon. Once adhered I added four Brads to each corner.
LEAVES:
Really Rust Card Stock (1-1/2" x 2")
Whisper White Card Stock (1"x 1-1/2")
The leaves were stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink and colored in using Watercolor Pencils.
LEAF:
Cranberry Crisp Card Stock (1-1/2" x 1-1/2")
Whisper White Card Stock (1" x 1")
This leaf was stamped in Cranberry Crisp Ink (retired). I adhered the image in the upper left hand corner to offset it so that there was room for the Real Red Gingham Ribbon going across the bottom and up the right hand side. In the corner I placed a Real Red Brad.
GREETING:
Really Rust Card Stock (2-1/2 x 1-1/2")
Whisper White (2" x 1")
I stamped the greeting in Really Rust Ink. What could be easier????
Thanks for stopping by.
