Ryan's First Birthday...

These are birthday cards Meg and I made for her future nephew, Ryan. I would have included a picture of Ryan but I only have pictures of him from last year when he was a month old or so. Meg and I had a fun afternoon making these but, then, any time I spend with Meg is great fun. 

MEG'S 1st Birthday Card for RYAN:

   

Meg chose Tempting Turquoise Card Stock and Designer Series Paper from a  Hostess Paper Pack. The octopus is from Stampin' Up! Look Who's Turning Stamp Set stamped in Brilliant Blue Ink. He, as well as the waves, were hand cut and layered over the DSP. With a Marker she added the bubbles. Adorable!

My 1st Birthday Card for RYAN: 
 
   

For my card I chose Only Orange and Whisper White Card Stock. From the Bugs & Kisses Stamp Set I stamped the grasshopper in Tempting Turquoise and the ants in Basic Black Ink. I took a piece of Green Galore Card Stock and cut it to resemble grass. I stamped the number "1" from the Big Numbers Stamp Set in So Saffron, enlarged it on my printer and cut it out. Party Hats in both cards are from the Look Who's Turning Stamp Set.
