Welcome back!
With every Stampin' Up! Catalog, I think, "This is the best catalog ever," but Stampin' Up! proves me wrong with the very next catalog they release. The summer mini is no exception. The stamp sets in it are wonderful. They're all so different and make my head spin with project and card ideas. No rest for the artistic with Stampin' Up!; that's for sure. The Hello Blossoms Stamp can be used in so many ways. In an earlier post I showed you how to make the fork holder with the set and now for today's post is a featured card with the Hello Blossoms Stamp . I do have a confession to make I cut out the "hello" from the stamp to allow me the opportunity to use brads in each flower center as I have in this card. I'm going to order another one so I can use it both ways.
Directions to make this card:
Pear Pizzazz Card Stock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and score it at 4-1/4"
Whisper White Card Stock 5" x 3-3/4" and 4-1/4" x 3"
Blushing Bride Card Stock 4-3/4" x 3-1/2"
I took my Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride and Wild Wasabi Markers and inked up the Hello Blossoms Stamp and stamped it on the smaller Whisper White piece of Card Stock. I didn't quite center it. I stamped it a bit to the right, so I had some balance in the design when I put the bow on. I also didn't want a solid inked image, so I went light with the markers.
I then inked up the Happy Birthday from the Bring on the Cake Stamp in Pear Pizzazz and stamped it under the Hello Blossoms. I lined it up to the left to have room for the one blossom I wanted to stamp at the end of the happy birthday.
I added some Green Galore Brads (retired) to each flower center and placed a green baker's twine bow (not Stampin' Up!) where shown.
Buy this Stampin' Up! a la carte Hello Blossoms stamp to please everyone on your card giving list.
Thanks for stopping by!
