Hello, Lakeside Stampers and welcome back! This project is the last one from my Easter/Spring Class. I alway like to show how versatile Stampin' Up! products can be. This small flower pot was purchased at a local store. You can use any stamp set you want depending on a theme, holiday or occasion. For this particular one obviously we chose an Easter Spring theme.
I first cut a template in a conical shape by rolling the flower pot onto a manila file folder and tracing the bottom part of the rim and the bottom of the pot. Once I had the template I then traced that onto the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper. I cut a 3/4" x 12" stripe to go around the rim and cut off the access.
For the images I stamped them from the Picnic Parade Stamp Set in Basic Black onto Whisper White Card Stock. I stamped each image about 10 times, one for each class attendee, and brought my original to the copy center and had a reverse copy made for the backs of the images. After hand coloring the images with my Stampin' Up! Markers, I cut both the front and back out, glued them together with the Tombow All-Purpose Adhesive, which by the way is terrific, and stuck a toothpick in between the front and back as shown to the left.
For the "Spring" banner I used computer generated type, cut close to the letters and glued it to the bunny's banner.
The basket was done in a similar manner to the bunny and I added Easter eggs cut from Card Stock in Springtime colors. A bow was made out of Pretty-in-Pink Satan Ribbon.
The stamp of the mailbox in this set inspired me to make teeny-tiny mail boxes. Don't ask me what I was thinking! After a lot of playing around this is what I came up with:
You can make these any size just play around with proportions I added real tiny branches gathered in my yard for the mailbox posts.
Thanks for stopping by and when you try this project, "Let the sky be the limit." Isn't that what they say?

This butterfly wreath turned out to one of the classes favorite projects. I sometimes look to do other projects besides cards. While everyone loves to do cards it's nice to have a "Home Decor" project that you can use in your home or as a gift for someone. Who wouldn't love this hanging in their home or to receive it as a present? I got the grapevine wreaths at a local craft store.
This was quite simple to make with the help of the Big Shot and Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die and the Butterfly Punch. Shelli wasn't kidding when she named this one! The butterflies are magnificent cut out of Stampin' Up! Designer Paper. Any paper you use works beautifully with this die. We used a variety of papers at the class. Once butterflies were cut, selected and layered they were adhered using Glue Dots. With the Sweetheart Stem Embosslits Die I cut some Old Olive Card Stock and inserted the leaves where needed. I tied a hanger and made a bow out of Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon and voila a beautiful butterfly wreath just in time for Easter and Spring.
I hope you take time out to make some of these Butterfly Wreaths.
Thanks for looking!

Who doesn't like a little blue box? While this one isn't from Tiffany's, it's just as nice to fill with a present, gift card or goodies as we did in class. The lattice work pops off the box nicely and what can I say about the gorgeous ribbon except it's beautiful and makes the perfect bow.
I traced a box template, which can be found on the internet, onto Bashful Blue Card Stock and cut it out.
Using my Big Shot I cut 3 of the Lattice Bigz Die. Two of the lattice dies I cut in half for the sides of the box. I adhered them as shown. The last full lattice was placed on the lid of the box. The lattice hung over the edges so they were trimmed with Paper Snipes.
Before putting the box together I placed a Pretty-in-Pink Brad in the center of each side of the box and one in the center of the lid.
For the lid I made a tag from the Metal Edge Tags and the wonderful and fun Sweet Pea Stitched Felt.
In the inside of the box I added pink Easter grass and candy.
These boxes can be made in any color and used for so many occasions as favors or really nice wrapping for that special gift.
I hope I have inspired you to try some of your own. Forward me your designs and I'll post them on my blog. The only stipulation is that you use all Stampin' Up! products as this is an all Stampin' Up! blog.
Thanks for visiting!

This is another card we made in the Easter/ Spring class. I love purple and yellow together even though they are complementary (opposite) colors on the color wheel and when mixed produce the neutral color grey. I even have a purple and yellow garden which the deer love as much as I do.
For the card above I cut:
10" x 7" piece of So Saffron Card Stock and scored it at 5"
4-1/2"x 6-1/2" piece of Almost Amethyst Card Stock
4-1/4" x 6-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock
To mount the butterflies I cut:
1-1/2" x 2" pieces of Regal Rose, So Saffron and Almost Amethyst Card Stocks
For the butterflies I used the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die, Big Shot and Almost Amethyst, So Saffron and Sending Love Designer Series Paper
For the card band I cut a 6-1/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Almost Amethyst Designer Series Paper and along the long edge I used the Scallop Border Punch
The greeting was stamped from the Eggcoutrements Stamp Set and cut it out with the Designer Label Punch. This is a great set as it coordinates with various Stampin' Up punches. I placed the greeting in a Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware, used a piece of So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon.
Before layering the card as shown I added a pierced design to each corner with the Paper Piercing Tool and Mat Pack.
Thanks for visiting and I sincerely hope this puts you in the mood for Spring!

This is one of the cards we made at Saturday's Easter/Spring class. Yes, there are Pink Daffodils as I have them growing in my garden. As soon as they bloom I will take a picture to show them to you.
All products are from Stampin' Up! This card was created by stamping the daffodil image from Abundant Hope Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink onto a piece of Watercolor Paper. It was cut using the Big Shot and scallop nesting dies. I colored the daffodils using Markers and Watercolor Pencils. Along the edge, in each scallop I pierced holes with my Paper Piercing Tool and Mat Pack. I then cut another larger scallop oval out of Blush Blossom Card Stock and along the edge using a Sponge Dauber and Pretty-in-Pink Ink I sponged the edge. I cut a piece of 3-3/4" x 5" Old Olive Card Stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Textured Plate. On a scrap piece of Watercolor Paper I stamped "Easter Blessings" from the Abundant Hope Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink, cut it out with the Modern Label Punch and, again, using Pretty-in-Pink Ink I sponged the edge. I made a small bow with the Pretty-in-Pink Taffeta Ribbon. I layered the card as shown above onto a 5-1/2 x 4-14" card made from Pretty-in-Pink Card Stock. Before I adhered the Old Olive Card Stock I placed four Pretty-in-Pink Brads in each corner.

Once again, Thank you for visiting!
I know it's been a very long time since I posted. If you all knew all the happenings in my life you would totally understand why I haven't. This is a sneak peek of one of the projects we will be making at the next class on Friday, March 19. Next week I will give directions for this project and the others we are making.
Thanks for looking and sticking with me!
HUGS & stamps,
April's calendar is above and was great fun to make. The Easter /Spring Eggs worked nicely with the birds. representing not only Easter but all the rebirth that happens in Spring!
RECIPE:
Stamp Sets: Cheep Talk
A Little Birdie Told Me
ABC Images
Inks: Green Galore
Chocolate Chip
Tempting Turquoise
Orchid Opulence
Pixie Pink
Paper: Whisper White Card Stock (8-1/2" x 8-1/2") not needed if using the back of March and (7" x 2-1/4") plus scraps for flower and bird images
Pixie Pink Card Stock (8" x 8") and (7" x 1/8")
Chocolate Chip DSP ( 3" x 4")
Yo-Yo Yellow Card Stock scraps
Accessories: Photo Corner Punch, Dimensionals
HERE"S WHAT I DID:
I first tore the Chocolate Chip DSP to resemble a small mound or hill and adhered it to the right bottom corner on the Whisper White Card Stock measuring 7" x 2-1/4". Using Green Galore I stamped one bird on Whisper White, The other bird I stamped in Tempting Turquoise. The eggs were stamped in Pixie Pink and the flowers in Orchid Opulence and the leaves in Green Galore. Then I cut out all images. Next I stamped on the Whisper White 7" x 2-1/4" piece the branch in Chocolate Chip and added the leaves in Green Galore. The umbrella is stamped in Tempting Turquoise. I punched out two sets of the photo corners in Yo-Yo Yellow. I assembled all the pieces as shown above, adhering the birds with dimensionals.
