This is the card I made for my brother John. It's pretty straightforward and notice I used the new Pewter Embossing Powder once again! I just can't help myself...
Card Stock Sizes:
Baja Breeze 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
Whisper White 5" x 3-3/4"
Soft Suede 4-3/4" x 3-1/2"
On a scrap piece of Whisper White, stamp the truck form the countryside stampe set in VersaMark and emboss the image with the Pewter Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool. Stamp the truck image again on another on a sheet of print paper and cut it out. This is going to be your mask for coloring in the sky. Place some Dotto re-positionable adhesive on the back of the mask and layer it over the embossed card image.
With Pastels and a Sp0onge Dauber, color in the sky. When finished remove the mask.
Use a combination of Markers and Watercolor Pencils to color in the Embossed truck. Carefully tear around the truck, tearing the card stock toward you. Use your opposite tearing hand, as a guide, so not to tear into the Embossed image.
On the right hand corner of the Soft Suede, stamp the Birthday Greeting form the Petite Pairs stamp set in VersaMark and White Embossing Powder.
Layer the card as shown in the photo.
Now, you have a completed masculine birthday card to give to that special male in your life! Don't forget to check out my other masculine cards HERE.
As ever, thanks for stopping by!
Stampin' Hugs.
